Happy Independance Day


Love the British sense of humor, this is what the British embassy in Washington tweeted on Independence day. I find it remarkably wonderful how close our two peoples have become over the centuries. At the risk of bringing up the cliche, America and Great Britain truly do share a special relationship. I see it metaphorically as the rebellious teenager conflicting with a parent looking to find his own place and identity in the world, just to come back after years of self reflection to make amends with that same parent; not to go back to the way things were, but now with a mutual respect, love, and friendship.
